There are good horror movies and there are bad horror movies. Then theres movies like this where you wish you were watching the most recent ring remake. All the characters that were not killers basically were flimsy shells that were murder fodder. The only decent scene was the soccer field scene but the scenareo was unrealistic even for horror standards.
The problem with the wrong turn series is that its basically a cash grab, the plot goes goes to trash from the first scene and it has no countinuity amoung the eariler movies in the series. If a movie is going to be bad then at least make it fun or at the very least have a compedent scream queen.
This was actually the first Wrong Turn movie in the series that I thought was unbelievably stupid. Sure it had a few surprising scenes, but I don't think I'll ever be in the mood again to watch this film. Why are the cannibals working with Maynard, who is a normal looking human being? He provided them with a home and a hide-out after the fiasco at the mental hospital or asylum, but why did they never try to kill him for treating them so awful? The acting wasn't good in this film at all. The opening scene with Maynard was bad enough. When the cop was told to stay behind after they found drugs in the crashed car at the beginning of the film, he easily could have shot Three Finger and the other cannibals charging at him out in the open. This scene made no sense whatsoever. They made the cop look so stupid by not shooting even one of them when he had time beforehand. I feel like there were only like seven people in the town at the time, which is so unlikely and just flat out absurd if you think about it enough. Sheriff Angela used her walkie talkie and no one was answering at the time, but why did she stop trying to reach out for help? That's what you call plot convenience. There were other sheriffs at the Halloween festival, but she stopped trying to reach out to them with the walkie talkie. How would the cannibals know what hotel and hotel room Billy's friends were staying in? Again, this is plot convenience and it's just lazy writing. This was a disappointing film.
The story is totally very very poor. Nothing new or interesting .totally the movie get 0.000001/10 for killing scene.
The characters are rather bland and the movie focuses on creating unique kills rather than developing a logical story. I will say that Doug Bradley plays a very creepy and believable character, though.
A pointless non-interesting somewhat slasher movie. Honestly this movie is so filled with flaws-inconcistinceies that it is an ALL-TIME low for the "wrong turn" series. So in this movie apparently when there is a party in town the rest of this cheap production town is abandoned. I'm not joking, apparently the partners can't tell that an explosion-fire went on! The sheriff in this movie is one of the dumbest people in horror movies of all time. At one point she says to "not" split up but, then later in the movie she splits everyone up. The kills are boring, and the acting wasn't that bad. A promblem with the ending is *spoilers* all the killers get out unharmed! It was the most dissapionting ending ever. So this movie is deffinetly different then all the other wrong turns. It doesn't even take place in a forest!
easily the worst film ever in the series the characters and plot are terrible
I'm gonna be really nice by giving this diarrea mess one star, cause man I hate that shit, it's absolutly horrible. What were they thinking by hireing Declan O'Brien to write and direct this film, when he fucked up on part 3 and 4. The teenage characters that you get attached to die like shit, the acting is just plain awful, and the special effects are obvious shitty CGI. This movie is really really bad, I definitly see why fans have called it the worst of the series. Stupid nonsensical piece of shit. I won't be watching it ever again!!!
This movie was a mess. The plot was stupid and had tons of plot holes. The acting and script was awful. However some of the death scenes were decent and pretty gory. On the flip side some of them were ridiculous. I don't like the fact that nobody survived but since they were all so stupid you don't feel bad.
I FUCKING HATE THIS MOVE! gross vile and pointless this culd have been a good last stand movie like the mist or legion but no intesd they go for cheap torture porn and gore thanks wrong turn 5 for making me feel like a peace of shit
Bloody awful movie...glad i didnt pay too see it in theaters or else id be pissed...the worse of whole franchise.
