It’s a reboot that somehow hasn’t taken anything away from its source material, instead adding on it, like putting more stars in its already starry galaxy. Go to Full Review

Kevin P @RT55971421 01/24/2025 I love the colorful background art and character designs. The voice acting is still just as charming as the original (minus the child landlord). I am very grateful for the story to be adapted into a full-length show on Netflix. However, I have some gripes with how they mashed the original 10 YouTube episodes into just 3 episodes, removing some of the best jokes and even some good character moments from the original and replacing them with awkward fart jokes. That being said, it’s still very charming and continues capturing the soul of the original. But the Lazy in Space episodes are so much better with a lot of charm and witty humor just like the original YouTube series. Bee’s character grows at a natural and satisfying pace. Allyn Rachel and the rest of the voicecast are as charismatic as ever. The characters are still very relatable and hilarious. We get good insight into PuppyCat’s past and cardamine’s maternal strife. The art colors are beautiful, the soundtrack is very calming, and the story progresses at a good pace. The show’s whole vibe and atmosphere is so chill and pleasant; it just puts you in a good mood. It’s a much better improvement from the 3 Netflix remake episodes. Hell, even Cardamine’s voice actor sounds normal again. Which makes sense since these episodes were completed in 2019 before Netflix picked it up and requested the 3 recap episodes. I do wish that Deckard could’ve been given more focus while he was away at Culinary school. But to be fair, they’re probably saving that for season 3. But God damn, that ending. The final episode feels like sensory overload with how many questions are answered and how many new ones are raised. The season finale climax is colorful and exciting as all the storylines come together and the status quo changes rapidly. I was left speechless, not gonna lie. It’s definitely a lot to take in. I certainly wonder if PuppyCat and Violet are going to be called out by Deckard’s family for essentially destroying their home, leaving them homeless, and putting their future careers in jeopardy. But it’s a great successor season that lives up to the hype with its comedy, drama, reveals, and character payoffs for the sake of the show’s dedicated fanbase that have all been waiting for years for this season to finally see the day of light. It makes me cautiously excited for season 3. See more Dean B @RT42325458 12/17/2024 Significantly cheapens the original magic of the show. Lines feel rushed and out of order. It feels like a dream with no structure compared to the original masterpiece. Stick with the original... See more N.J. N @RT95563794 05/07/2024 Absolutely mesmerizing in the craziest way. The pastels and soft music is just so wonderful. Every episode is crazier than the last and the story gets more weird yet makes sense. Worth watching so many times! See more Will W @RT93096103 01/12/2024 A fun and endearing series to enjoy. See more Johnathon W @Hoppynsc 08/20/2023 Strange yet charming cartoon series that has an ambling way about it. The voice cast is excellent with some truly unique characters that take twists you don't see coming, from a girl robot to a pregnant wrestler. The stories are also out there, with some insane turns as characters travel the galaxy doing odd jobs for money. A truly unique show and its worth watching on Netflix. See more Kimchi @RT69715301 01/02/2023 I really wanted to love this. I grew up watching the first pilots and episodes released gradually throughout the years. Those were really great and memorable. But I'm sorry guys. The Netflix series is a mess. It's all over the place with CONSTANT jokes or something weird happening every second that doesn't make sense. We'll get some character development and some story once, and then not again for 3-4 episodes. I love the art and whimsical setting, but it's just hard to get into when nothing makes sense and you feel left in the dark about what's going on. Even the ending leaves you with an empty feeling with no closure on what exactly happened. See more Read all reviews
