Hopefuls turn healthy leftovers, like pork tenderloin and marinated vegetables, into comfort food, then transform fast-food favorites into high-end fare.
Game-day appetizers morph into meals that score big points with the judges; the contestants must re-imagine barbecue takeout as a gourmet feast.
Contestants turn leftovers from a holiday meal into a sandwich, using glazed ham, apple pie and green bean casserole; Greek food gets a new life.
The cooks serve up a wonderful breakfast using date-night leftovers, then impress the judges with fresh takes on Italian takeout.
Bacon-wrapped brats and blueberry cobbler get a second look as late-night snacks; duck confit and cassoulet evolve into entirely different dishes.
Potluck castoffs return as sinful desserts; the challengers tackle Chinese takeout, including egg rolls and chow mein.
The cooks use food from a children's party to make cocktails and an indulgent brunch; Mexican dishes are remade into gnocchi, dumplings and more.
After creating a flavor bomb from notoriously bland foods, the competitors take on a challenge to transform Thai takeout.

Feb 06, 2022Watched it for the food ideas. The judges are too obnoxious for me.. just try way to hard…especially the singing girl, its too much of nonsense that I didn't sign up to listen to. Also the alarm clock makes my heart drop every time it goes off, reminding me of having to wake up for work. That could have been more "creative" since they are all about that. Maybe a ding like when fast food is up. ANYTHING but that stupid alarm sound.

Jul 10, 2021Jackie Tohn screwed it up. Super cringey.
-
May 31, 2021super entertaining! great concept, just wish the cooks weren't allowed to add items that weren't leftovers.
-
May 13, 2021Isn't the whole point of making food with leftovers to reduce waste? The first 15 minutes, you see the contestants choosing which leftovers they're NOT going to use, and the judges started playing with their food and throwing cheeseballs on the ground. What a poor execution of a show that means nothing to food lovers.

Mar 05, 2021At first I thought I might learn some tricks for what to do with leftovers, but the creations are usually too complex for a novice like me. In other words, this is not a cooking show, it is a competition. So now I just think of it as a silly Top Chef with a charismatic host and odd trio of judges – i.e. mindless entertainment after a long day.

Feb 11, 2021Awful show and annoying host
-
Jan 14, 2021Great concept, poor execution. First thing I notice is it feels very scripted not natural. Tacky set, and awkward host. Probably won't watch again.
-
Jan 04, 2021great concept, great energy and a fun eclectic mix of judges. real culinary expertise and quirkiness with rosemary and some genuine giggles from the other judges. binged watched and felt it went real quick.
