So much networking and schmoozing, and passive aggression, and outfits and spa days and yoga and restaurants, and why even bother? Go to Full Review

During a cost of living and housing crisis, is it crass and tin-eared to rub people’s noses in this grotesque, mind-boggling level of wealth? Of course it is! Horribly so. But people will watch it, because this is a penthouse peep show... Go to Full Review

The people on screen aren’t reciting a script, they’ve just learned – through prolonged exposure to “scripted reality” shows – to actually speak like this. They know what is required of them. The whole thing plays out like one long Instagram reel. Go to Full Review

For those who love to watch the unnecessary and mindless drama of adults as they try to sell luxury properties, Buying London is probably an answer… it’s not THE answer, but that’s neither here nor there. Go to Full Review

Despite the fact that Buying London feels very familiar, the new personalities and the unique homes serve up everything we want in a show like this. Go to Full Review

Your love for Buying London will be dependent on your love for gold taps, how many you want to see. Also, how many times you’re willing to tolerate the agents sticking “super” in front of every superlative. Go to Full Review

Jessica A Oct 1 Such a bad show, I feel embarrassed for them. See more MB B @Moneypenny Jun 3 A show about real estate that does not focus on real estate. It's a show about fake smiling, backstabbing agents with hair extensions and lip injections, who hustle 24/7. Guess they are anxious to make their millions before their "sell by" dates are up. They dine together in luxurious settings, wearing ridiculous clothes, then begin arguing just as their main entree is served (just like the "Real Housewives" franchises). Shut up and eat! Oh, that's right, they probably don't eat. Just get back to showing OTT homes--that's what we really want to see. See more David F @dfulmer 09/05/2024 This was so so. Way too much talk about “Super Prime” and I wished they spent a little bit of time explaining how the real estate game is played in the UK so us Yanks could get up to speed. Like, what exactly does “Grade II Listed” mean? Maybe I should be ashamed to admit it, but I do in fact watch these real estate shows in the hopes that I will learn something new, such as that. I also noticed when they flashed the commissions on the screen they all seemed to be 2%. That’s less than in the USA (where it’s 2.5% or 3% generally which is paid by the seller of the home. The seller has to cough up 5% or 6% total, and that is split evenly between the seller’s agent and the buyer’s agent. Or at least it was until the summer of 2024 when a court settlement unleashed chaos for real estate commissions). I read a Reddit thread about this show and people pointed out that there were ZERO sales. I just thought that was funny. They do show a few homes on this show, mixed in with the drama, and Daniel Daggers is mildly interesting even if he is no Josh Altman (and he’s definitely no Josh Flagg!). See more Chandra V 05/29/2024 They show a handful of properties, 98% of the show is poorly staged super fake conversations and unnecessary drama. I fast forwarded through the whole season in 40mins, hoping it would get better but it didn’t. Absolute waste of time. Don’t bother watching. See more Adrian 05/26/2024 10% luxury estate 90% fake drama See more Daniel G 05/25/2024 Wow. The most horrible and obnoxious people on TV! See more Read all reviews
