Critic Reviews for Call the Midwife Season 6

All Critics (2) | Top Critics (2)

Call the Midwife has not lost its zeal for portraying the grimy hardships of East End life nor the sludgy realities of childbirth.

This has never, despite occasionally being wrongly sold as such, been sweetly cosy retro TV, and shows no signs of easing on the social grit as we move further into the 1960s.

  • Apr 02, 2018
"I find that love, I believe, though it hurts, is worth it" "I find two opinions are better than one; PARTICULARLY if one of them is mine." "People who have secrets are usually afraid. Afraid of being laughed at, or rejected or punished. Persecuted even" "Trust unfolds in a friendship Christopher. And just because a friendship becomes something else doesn't mean it has to unfold faster."
