CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Season 12 (2011 - 2012)

Season 12
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation

Critics Consensus

The arrival of the compulsively watchable Ted Danson injects the CSI lab with new blood, although this procedural's scalpel has undeniably dulled over the years.

That's the real problem - not that CSI has exhausted all possible causes of death proffered by the modern world; rather that, leechlike, they have sucked all the blood out of sentient humanity.

Within the bounds of the material, Danson is doing fun, off-the-wall work.

Watching Ted Danson bring his passive-aggressive brand of office politics to the show is giving you something fresh to watch while waiting to see what Santa's left for you in the next body bag.

Then there's the sheer pleasure of watching an actor at the peak of his craft, which should bring, and keep, at least a few new viewers.
