Tv Season Info

Series 13 of the crime drama picks up where the 12th series ended, with D.B. Russell (Ted Danson) frantically searching for his kidnapped granddaughter, and Nick (George Eads) contemplating leaving CSI. Things get even more complicated for Russell when he learns that his son is the prime suspect in the murder of a college-basketball coach. The entire CSI team is hit hard emotionally when a pastor is murdered at the burial site of slain colleague Warrick Brown; and when a mass grave is uncovered, the case becomes personal for Finlay (Elisabeth Shue) because one of the victims is linked to a case she investigated during her time in Seattle. On the relationship front, Hodges (Wallace Langham) shocks everyone when he announces that he is engaged to an Italian beauty; and Sara (Jorja Fox) begins to feel the strain of her long-distance marriage with Grissom when a former lover resurfaces. A bright spot for Russell occurs when his friend and fellow CSI Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) visits. But things quickly turn serious when Mac's girlfriend Christine (Megan Dodds) is kidnapped and held hostage. Later, David Phillips (David Berman) attends his high-school reunion only to discover that the prom queen has been murdered; and the CSIs investigate a series of deaths with disturbing similarities to the sins in "Dante's Inferno." Black Sabbath perform during the series finale.
