An expert in a particular field helping a failing business improve its performance has become a program staple for many cables. "Abby's Studio Rescue" on Lifetime brings dance coach and "Dance Moms" star Abby Lee Miller to studios on the brink of disaster. She tries to transform them to help them achieve profitability. Miller's 30 years of experience in studio ownership helps struggling studios undergo overhauls: renovating studio space, finding the right staff, and fine-tuning choreography. Her no-nonsense advice is, of course, always present.
