K R 10/07/2024 This was a very interesting documentary, and it left me wanting to know much more. There is a lot of incriminating audio of the cult leader. There are interviews with ex-cult members, those who left when they figured out that the group was a cult, and those who were on the fringe and stayed out of harm's way. There are also interviews with several family members who are concerned with their family members who are still involved in the cult today. While there are scenes of dancing and such that could have been left out, this was still a very well-done documentary. It gives you insight into how this narcissist gained power, and why people followed him. I hope this documentary helps to put this man in jail. The second episode slowed down to almost a screeching halt and the third episode just delt with the aftereffects in a very boring way. The truth is Islam and do not let these bad scenarios the church, priest or general Christians deter you. And I am not trying blame all of Christianity, I have respect for the religion. People use this image far to often to deceive people and do not follow blindly just cause someone speaks of God or hides behind a religious shield. Islam ask you in regards Quran, Sunnah and religious foundation to question everything and use your logic and look for evidence. Everything we go by evidences Prophet Muhammad revelations and teachings. None of this taking advantage, holy spirit, made up dancing and practices and PRIEST THAT LITERALLY MAKING CLAIMS LIKE HE IS GOD!! Astaghfirullah. The entire crew did a decent job of bringing this peculiar crime story to life. It was kind of dramatic and tedious. It wasn't as great as other crime docuseries that I've seen. The last episode turns into some weird reality t.v bit before it realised it was a documentary again then rushes though a random time line.
