However, it diverges significantly, lacking the original characters and instead introducing a new setting filled with dragons. Unfortunately, it seems like an attempt to capitalize on the popularity of the films, but it ultimately fell short. The plotlines felt disjointed, and the character development was minimal, leading to a lackluster experience over its eight seasons. Rather than feeling like an authentic DreamWorks production, it came across as a rushed project aimed solely at generating profit from the established series, which was a disappointing misstep. It's evident that there was an overwhelming push for production without a focus on quality. The storytelling felt hurried and crammed, making it a lackluster series overall. While I did manage to watch it through to the end, I wouldn't consider revisiting it. The content seems better suited for very young children, and I found it to be quite tedious. See more 05/08/2022 THIS SHOW GETS BETTER AND BETTER!! The story of the fellow young dragon riders continue learning about the dragons and the hidden world. At the same time they protect their secret but soon I can tell some characters are on to the riders. But what was more exciting is there was more clues to Tom's mysterious connection between the dragons and his family heritage. I even enjoyed the return of two powerful dragons that appeared on the show! Let the Dragons: The Nine Realms continue!! My respect to the team and producers of this show! See more Read all reviews
