Gregory M @Gregory780 Mar 31 An amazing continuation of spear and fang’s story. This season is a lot more narrative driven and has a consistent storyline throughout (almost) every episode. season one was just spear and fang trying to survive in a harsh prehistoric landscape, while season two they actually have a purpose and goal, find Mira. This really drives the plot forward but definitely takes that anthology feel from the first season away which I really liked but season 2 makes up for it with how great its story is. It introduces new characters that you fall in love with and the world building in this season is really good, spear and fang discover new lands and meet new characters and civilizations that really make the world feel alive and vibrant. Only complaint is episodes 5 "the primal theory" felt extremely out of place from the rest of the story but it was still an enjoyable episode. Overall great sequel season that perfectly follows up the first one. Hopefully season 3 is just as amazing See more Zach P @RT38938793 Mar 30 It’s not like I expect a show with almost no dialogue to have award winning writing, but I believe a hostage situation where the protagonists give themselves up is an example of really bad writing. For those of you who love the show, I agree that there is a lot to love, it’s very satisfying at times and heart wrenching at other times, it really could have been a masterpiece if they didn’t include an unrealistic hostage subplot. Some people might want to point out that a cave man riding a dinosaur is also unrealistic, but this is a completely different kind of unrealistic. I can suspend my disbelief about the fantasy elements, but not about the characters decisions within the fantasy world. This season wasn't as good as the first but it's comforting to see Spear and Fang's offspring live on.
