Primal is full of adventure, blood and limbs flying, and the uncertainty of the human heart, even though its main characters aren’t necessarily human at all. Go to Full Review

Both visually and emotionally, Primal has kicked it up another gear yet again, embracing the supernatural like never before and asking big questions about humanity while barely uttering a single word. Go to Full Review

Season three solidifies Primal as one of the best adult animated television series of all time. Every element of this show is phenomenal; a violent and visceral fever dream that is so overwhelmingly badass and undeniably metal as hell. Go to Full Review

Gregory M @Gregory780 Apr 19 I was nervous going into this. Given that s2 ended at a point where I honestly thought they didn’t need to continue the show. Bringing spear back to me seemed like an excuse to keep the show going and make more money. But boy was I wrong. This freaking show continues to blow me away! Season 3 arguably has an even better story than season 2! Plus the first three episodes brought back the anthology feel of S1 so that was nice to have as well. It’s so impressive how much this show can pull off with no dialogue. It’s story is better than most shows out there and the characters, despite not saying anything feel real and alive. As per usual the score and action is top notch, animation is stellar and we get to see even more characters and creatures that inhabit this rich world. Each season I get more invested. Genndy, PLEASE make season 4! This show has the best consistency in quality I’ve ever seen in a tv show 10s across the board! Bring on season 4! Like its literally better than Breaking Bad. I can not remember a better ending to a season...(Supernatural 5 comes close) Best of all 3 seasons. See more Todd B @ToddB1975 Mar 30 I enjoy this so much. Grunting and screaming is enough to convey the story. See more Max B. @RT76670402 Mar 25 Show is uniquely immersive. In a world full of distraction, this limited dialogue show captivates in unexacting ways. Binged seasons 1-3 in two weeks See more Christopher M @RT48186289 Mar 22 Maybe the worst of the three. But the animation was still good. It is also the worst of the three thanks to some "creative decisions" that did not exist in the first two seasons. See more vieira ツ @vieira Mar 19 The third season of Primal is, in my view, the second best among the three so far, ranking just below the first. Spear’s journey of self-discovery in this new phase is captivating, and you genuinely root for him to remember who he once was and to live a normal life with his family. The increased focus on Mira this season was very necessary. Previously, she often felt restrained and didn’t have many standout moments, but now she becomes a major protagonist and a key part of the story. Fang’s relationship with her offspring is both funny and heartwarming, as we see the small conflicts that come with it. Overall, it’s a strong conclusion to the saga, and if a fourth season happens, I hope it surpasses this one—I’d love to see Spear and Mira’s daughter joining them in new adventures.
