The Johnson family's eldest daughter is taking her first steps into the real world as she heads off to college. "Grown-ish" explores the first trappings of adulthood, and Zoey must navigate through the trials and tribulations of these momentous steps. Zoey discovers that once she leaves the nest, things do not always go her way. The series features "that in between place where you're not quite an adult but facing grown world problems for the first time," Kenya Barris, the show's creator and executive producer, said.

03/28/2021 Over 3 seasons and 50 episodes, only 5 episodes were good, and they all involved sagacious political and social commentary. I loved the episode where Ana fisagrees with Aaton and Nomi about conservative women being oppressed. And the episode about Vivek having a threeome was apt. Other than that, all the ither 45 episodes were mundane bores driven by pettiness aming girls judging eachother's personal decisions. Luca is an awful, boring, self absorbed character wjo should have been written out of the show at the beginning of season 1. The actors were excellent. The writing is abysmal and boring. The only significant event in all of season 2 is Ana and Aaron hooking up. The only significant event in Season 3 is Nomi having a baby, which is a desperate attempt by the writers to make the show engaging. The oter 45 episodes slogged through Yara Shahidi, or her character Zoey Johnson going back and forth between liking Aaron and Luca. She simply flips back and forth between them and Cash Mooney for 3 seasons and then the show ends. So boring and pathetic, and such a let down for such a talented group of actors. Watch the first 6 episodes of Season 1 and then move onto another show. See more 03/11/2021 Terrible show about shallow, self-absorbed people with the typical teen drama relationships. See more 01/30/2021 It's awful. Disney has more money than common sense. See more Illya F @RT11494961 02/16/2020 RT deleted all the ratings here. Cause there were fake reviews by "critics" who gave 100% to this sh*t. The audience score was 40% percent last week. No better than last season. Now nothing is here. ------ Black sisters and Mexican chick act like their stereotypes in my white head, more and more each episode. See more Read all reviews
