season 6 is so bad... they tell you robin wright does a great job.. but she doesn't and i don't know if it is because of the acting or the writing... either way.. it's not worth watching.. find something else to binge.
Lack of Kevin is obvious... It´s a shame he had to left the cast for a false acusation done 30 years ago... It´s pretty ridiculous.
This show was on the shoulders of Kevin Spacey. There is no House of Cards without Frank Underwood.
I find it surprising that the so called critics have even given remotely positive reviews, Season 6 is a disaster.
Sorry HoC, but without Spacey your show lost its soul. What a mistake to cast him out. Wright cannot hold the ship with her over the top acting. Though she was excellent in previous seasons as Spacey's counterpart, she lacks spine to carry this through.
Felt like they have some kind of vengeance not just against Frank Underwood, but also Kevin Spacey. Watched it just cuz I had watched the first five seasons. Claire Underwood simply couldn't carry the show like Frank did. Netflix tried their best to keep it angaging, but the show was full of flaws.
Even with Spacey's firing, the show still manages with some great performances. But the season is overstuffed with some contrived plotlines that are abandoned or resolved with deus-ex machinas. Ultimately, the season leads to an underwhelming and divisive ending.
Its not a HoC without Frank.
Out of all the great episodes this series had to offer, few of them appeared in this season. It is obvious and noticable while watching that they scrambled to write a season that is devoid of Kevin Spacey. The writing is garbage and the show makes no sense in this season. It definitely lacks the acting from Spacey as well. Although there are moments that are decent, this season is just generally awful.
I thought waiting at the DMV was quite exciting in comparison to watching season 6. The latest episodes remind me of a drunken 60-is rock-star, applying at Live Nation to be touring through the biggest arenas of the country. Total fail...
This season is absolutely unwatchable. The writing is rank: amateur. The storyline is meandering and nonsensical. The acting is (mostly) over the top. Why do a final season? Just put a bullet in this thing's head and let it die.
