After months away, we're back with the Keating Four and ramping up for a new mystery. The first episode of season 4 jumps into some of the questions left open last season, but they're not necessarily the ones you're expecting.

It's a strange but ultimately satisfying premiere, standing out from the show's past premieres by going the slow character drama route rather than murder party.

Sep 29, 2017 | Rating: A- | Full Review…

You almost had me, Emmy- and Academy Award-winning actress, Viola Davis. You almost had me thinking that this would be a relatively simple and stripped-down episode of HTGAWM.

As expected, the How to Get Away with Murder winter finale snatched my wig - multiple times. The writing, the cinematography, the acting, the pacing, the music ... so many details that created a masterpiece.

The status quo will be quite different in Season 4, which should be fun to explore. That said, the premiere also introduced the big mystery of at least the first half of the season, and it definitely wasn't funny.

Sep 29, 2017 | Full Review…

Viola Davis' brilliant portrayal of Annalise Keating is the glue that holds the series together, and we saw her dramatic perfection in full force tonight.

Sep 29, 2017 | Full Review…

Annalise pleading her case in court showcased Viola Davis' acting at its finest. There is not a scene that woman cannot act flawlessly.

Sep 28, 2017 | Rating: 3.8/5 | Full Review…

Considering what she's gone through in the last three years - or even the last six months, really - Annalise Keating could really use a win.

Audience Reviews for How to Get Away With Murder: Season 4

The prior season left and hard wound open for the main characters as they have to cope with the events that happened in the past. Although they got through hard times, this season manages to get them closer and be more united than ever, because the danger is at every step.

    An incredible season. Wow.

FYI made an account to write this. Viola Davis offers a powerful exposition of emotional struggle and social discourse. With sporadic and sometimes excellent support from characters 'Nate, Frank, Michaela, Laurel and of course the brilliant Bonnie'. While the 'Keating 5' dynamic was perhaps become stale, the relationship development as provided a fresh and brilliant start. Viola Davis is an absolute genius! Also this has taken me like 5 rewrites due to email verification issues. So I was committed to writing this review, lest we forget...

This season ends the suspense of finding out who was under the blanket & at the end, sets up hopeful directions for some of faves but also pushes in full view of the next mystery.

do you really think a multi billion dollar law firm aren't smart enough to put CCTV to the door said is incredibly important that only allow 4 people to access? this series starting to get as ridiculous as scandal. Oh wait there she is
