The Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted is home to Klaus Mikaelson's daughter Hope, Alaric Saltzman's twins Lizzie and Josie, and other young adults who are coming of age as witches, vampires and werewolves, nurtured to be their best selves and overcome their villainous impulses. At this moment, Legacies gives Hope well-deserved character growth. Hope still cares immensely for Landon, but she will not sacrifice MG for him. By doing this, Legacies has taken an essential step forward. Go to Full Review

Rowan C @RowanC3 12/05/2024 Season 4 of Legacies was by far the best season in so many ways, and it was very impressive how they were able to end if off so well. This season was the most eventful, and introducing gods was such a stretch, but it landed very well. At the beginning of this season, Hope has her humanity off due to the fact that she had to kill Landon and once that happened her humanity switched off. Hope was one of the most ruthless vampires when she had her humanity off, compared to those of the Vampire Diaries and The Originals. She did not care who she hurt and even ended up killing Lizzie which turned her into a heretic. The common threat this season took all the Salvatore school, and they all came together to defeat the king of the gods. We got to see the original family in this season and Klaus Mikaelson himself made an appearance which was an emotional wreck. Caroline finally came back to the school, and she was appointed headmaster because of Alaric's decision to leave. Hope got closure with her dad, and she spread his ashes at the dock overlooking the water. I will say that Legacies is not better than the other two installments in this universe, but they ended this show very well. I am still shocked that Joseph Morgan made an appearance at the end of this show. The Vampire Diaries universe was full of emotion, action and entertainment in which I am so glad that I chose to watch these shows. See more Viola S @RT20203272 02/04/2024 Landon has the best character after Hayley in this universe. Respect. Sad the show ended but still they did the best they could with it, the endind was fitting for the whole TVD universe. See more Luka G @Lukkaaa 08/26/2023 i love this show!! i loved it so much i cried for two days when it ended, i rewatched it so many times, but i'll say that this is not TVDU it was comepletly different that many hated. yeah agree that dragons and goblins where too much and they made Hope look like a normal witch until season 4, but it had a good story and i fell in love with characters immedietly!! i would love to see more spin-offs of TVD but PLEESE Julie Plec NO MORE DRAGONS!!! its the vampire diaries universe not the fairy tale diaries... See more 07/31/2022 Because everyone needs to be tolerant with lgbt….., and whatever else, it doesn't means the ppl that follow this series need to watch so much scenes of gay ppl, in some cases are offensive. Used this kids for that kind of Character es is unacceptable. See more 07/11/2022 I enjoyed seeing the dark side of Hope. Tired of seeing Landon to be honest tho. Let him go. It was refreshing to see some of The Originals cast. Hope to see more of them. See more jon c 06/17/2022 The adventures of the Legacies continues for a 4th season but also the very last of Julie Plec's supernatural series Season 3 got a lot better with its writing as far as furthering these characters and testing their emotions even more Hope and Landon felt like they got back to the crux of their relationship, Josie started attending Mystic Falls High while falling for a girl named Finch who found out she was a werewolf, the Necromancer was defeated, new student Cleo made monsters show up and Hope found out while interacting with a fake version of Landon, and she finally understood by looking back at her past that she has to become the Tribrid in order to take down Malivore At the end of last season Landon's father, Malivore took control of him, swallowed him into his domain along with Cleo Season 4 starts with Malivore inhabiting Landon locked up by Hope, Josie, Alaric, Lizzie hoping to free him and Cleo Malivore wants Cleo for something big and Hope is looking for a key memory But at some point she may have to activate her vampire side to succeed Even her aunt Freya and Rebekah makes a brief appearance to give her some much needed guidance Is it her humanity that's holding her back with a constant cycle of love, loss, grief repeat ? Even some of Alaric's memories show his doubt and confidence in Hope when she first arrived at the school Triad is also after her still so Hope hunts them down to find out why Josie also feels burdened not living up to her own legacy; constantly worrying about protecting everyone else she feels is holding her back Lizzie is so distraught by Hope's actions she's willing to put her down and makes a huge transformation Aurora, the former flame of Klause makes a return as well and pulls the ultimate bait-and-switch One of the main cast members officially leaves this season too Halfway through this season the Greek gods are introduced, everything traces back 5,000 years ago when humans wanted the power of the divine and therefore monsters were created to punish them It's not just supernatural beings anymore with Hope, Lizzie and the others encountering These deities even feared Malivore of all things given he has the power to wipe someone's existence from the face of the earth If there's any way to get Hope's humanity back it might lie in her going back home to New Orleans patching things up with Freya, Rebekah, Cole, and Marcel People are constantly growing and changing, you can't control it just pray you're going in the same direction, nobody's ever ready for love it just happens, being human means you have a conscious, sometimes you have to risk things when it hurts, we can be stronger than the ones who tease us, being a leader means making tough decisions, pressure is the terror of knowing what the world is about, our sins don't define us unless we let them, sometimes the only way out is through, being feared and being strong are two very different things, love means fighting for the people we care about not against them, we can't run away from our grief, it's all about who's telling the story no matter if one is hero or villain The finale leads to Hope and the others fighting the power of the gods while she does some soul searching, she may have to accept her true destiny which is to live for others There's also a lot of bad blood between the gods we find out that establishes everything this season has built up and Landon makes his ultimate decision finally find peace Hope and Lizzie truly find their solace too The Salvatore School is a place for second chances, to not be perfect and I'm glad I got to see these next generation supernaturals get ther chance to shine They are misunderstood beings that deserve to be looked at but also better known And two guest stars came back from the other shows which was a nice cherry on top This was the biggest season out of all of them which I was pleasantly surprised by There's always hope for everyone and clearly Danielle Rose Russell is proof of that giving that much needed growth I got pretty teary eyed but not as much as the previous finales from the ‘Vampire Diaries' and ‘The Originals', those felt much bigger I'm glad though I got to see this second spin-off of this next generation of supernatural characters and how they make their way into the the world and tying up some loose ends in the process Definitely gonna miss this kind of teen drama for sure with fresh faces, relatable problems, big creature mythology, and creator Julie Plec's love for mixing romance and the supernatural Farewell ‘Legacies' and may you live on forever… See more Read all reviews
