See more 01/12/2022 I'm very disappointed in this season. There were no follow through on previous storylines and cliffhangers. The jokes were recycled and bland. A lot of them didn't land. It was a big mess. If you're going to continue to have the Dick family jokes, mix it up. Shock us. Only 6 episodes to clear up cliffhangers and close the loop on other storylines? It was boring and disappointing. I would have happily waited another six months for season 10 if it meant better writing. Every TV show has a bad — in this case, very bad — season. See more Corey W @RT31768611 12/30/2021 The writing is still sharp and the joke deliveries are still so fast that the show almost begs to be watched with subtitles, but the formula is starting to get old. These later seasons lack direction and instead the show runners are just shoehorning these characters into one-off sitcom situations that offer no real substance or continuity. It's especially disheartening when the season opens with the promise of plot: The natives, led by Tanis, have teamed up with "Bro Dude Energy" to launch their own energy drink. This premise is quickly discarded by episode three and instead we descend into unfocused, episode-to-episode silliness. Don't misunderstand, some of this silliness is quite funny but at this point in the series it makes the viewer wonder "what next?" See more Read all reviews
