On the heels of the History channel special that explored what Earth might be like if the human race were suddenly to disappear comes a series that provides, in even-more detail, a picture of a post-human future, revealing the fate of structures like the Sears Tower and the Sistine Chapel and creatures that might inherit the places we once lived. Supporting the visuals and special effects are interviews with specialists from the fields of engineering, botany, biology, geology and archaeology.

Violet T @RT21110393 Aug 1 Yesterday I got excited when I saw a new season of Life After People. I had no idea it was renewed. 1st episode maybe I was just really tired, but I felt something was off about the program. Like it didn't seem as good but I couldn't figure out why. 2nd episode and I'm getting more disappointed. The first episode I noticed a huge shift in the style of CGI and real video clips. Something was off about it all. Now that I'm thinking about it the script and voice even seem off. And then it hit me with episode 2. It's all AI. This is an extended AI TikTok. History has stooped lower and lower. It shouldn't surprise me they would make an entire series using AI. Btw this is my FIRST RT review ever. I was so disappointed, I wanted you to know. See more Cannon D @RT20014372 Jul 15 Overall, Season 3 is a major downgrade from the first two seasons. I was skeptical when I first heard about the AI usage, and my suspicions were proven correct. Some scenes look fine, but others look blurry and unrealistic for the scene they're trying to describe. The new season also goes less in-depth for specific structures. I noticed only 2 or 3 specific structures were focused on. This also makes the pacing an issue. It feels like the show is going too fast through certain sections and giving less of a spotlight to time periods and the cities. I'm happy the show is back (with the OG narrator), but this is overall worse than the previous two seasons. I would recommend if you're still into the core concept of the show, but if you're only here for collapses and the CGI, then this is a hard sell.
