07/26/2022 I thoroughly enjoyed this series. It has a good mix of drama, intrigue, and humor. The acting and script are good and maintained my attention. The period clothing and sets are good, except for a few faux outdoor scenes where painted trees are obvious. See more 03/26/2022 It has promise. I'm curious if they will have a second season and where it will go. I found some of the backstory a little weird and confusing, but the sets were beautiful and I enjoyed the the relationship between Nora and her grandmother. The chemistry between the romantics pairings is feels a bit forced and I don't feel particularly invested in the murder storyline.
