But just as you can get used to even the sickening crunch of broken body parts if repeated too often, ‘Mandala Murders’ runs out of ideas, and then all there’s left is repetitive loops, and situations which stretch credulity. Go to Full Review

Mandala Murders is visually arresting, occasionally gripping, and earnest in its ambition to do something different. It joins a list of Netflix India originals that dazzle on the surface but falter in narrative depth... Go to Full Review
James Delingpole The Spectator Aug 15
Whenever you tire of the confusing plot and endless flashbacks, you can distract yourself with thoughts like ‘Oo, that bright painted room would make a nice boutique hotel interior’. Go to Full Review
Rahul Desai The Hollywood Reporter India Jul 30
It's an example of indie (read: creative) vision being offset by mainstream treatment; or a director's idealism being offset by a producer's functionality. Go to Full Review

Mandala Murders aims to blend sci-fi with mythology but makes a hash of it. The sci-fi is laughable...The mythology is mostly mumbo-jumbo. Go to Full Review

...the writing is the hero, and the blend of sci-fi with mythology is what makes Mandala Murders different. Binge-watch it or just watch it at one go, the way I did, but don’t give it a miss. Go to Full Review

Shivansh S @Shivansh418 Feb 5 This is one of the shittiest piece of media I have ever laid my eyes upon. the makers should hang themselves who the f approved this script and which bhand decided to produce this shit . Firstly I thought that the storyline is great I felt like this was going to turn out good but nothing prepared me for the mindfuc.. ending this thing adds Please I beg you to not waste your time on this bs middle finger to the whole production house, casting team ,producers and a electricity pole should be specially reserved for the writers to . See more Sumit T @RT28951323 Sep 9 This series was a total hit at the start, pulling me in with a fantastic story and great direction. I literally couldn't stop watching and finished most of it in one day. But then it fizzled out. The last three episodes were a mess—the direction was poor, the action felt sloppy, and the overall execution was a joke. It's a shame they couldn't finish what they started. See more Sai V @RT35342545 Aug 26 I liked the initial episodes, it looses it's charm and suspence over period of time. My huge disappoint is last two episodes. See more Vineet Kumar N @RT29285425 Aug 10 The only good thing about MM is the production quality and casting. But wait, the talented cast is woefully wasted. The direction is bad, dialogues worse and the screenplay even more. The story feels like it's written by an 8th grader. The only 1 scene in the 8 episodes which deserves attention is the romantic scene between VRG and SC, where the chemistry of both leads was good. They BG and title scores were heavily inspired by Dark and GOT respectively, so nothing original. I pity the cast because most of the cast was talented. YRF failed miserably. Please don't waste your time. See more Read all reviews
