Season 3 is visceral, uncomfortable, and tells this true story of Ed Gein in a slightly fictionalized way, not straying away from his atrocities. I now understand why it has the lowest ratings. First, I want to say that the actor playing Ed Gein did a wonderful job. Acting from the cast was good. The problem is the direction and sequence of the whole series. It’s really messy and disorganized. Like they didnt take the time to carefully sequence the events or show it in a way that audience can follow. It was slow and dragged a lot of times too. This is not a documentary, so don't expect it to be accurate. And more: There is a bit of fcition too. PS: How on earth, the media give 94% to Heavy trip (A really really bad comedy movie) and 22% to Monster? People loved Project Hail mary, but complain on how Monster is not accurate, but loves the a science fiction of a guy that goes into deep space and talks to a stone. Creating completely fake scenarios, making up characters that not only dont exist, but are there merely to take the blame off of Ed Gein, is a complete and utter spit in the face to everyone who watched it. What was the reasoning behind creating a female character who pushes Eds insanity? "Oh he was schizophrenic, he made her up"? How dumb do the writers think we are? What a joke.
