Michaela T @michaela02 Feb 6 As I recall, I watched this season a while ago; however, I remembered only the beginning, to be honest. Compared to Love Through a Prism, which was the first anime I decided to watch this year on my learning Japanese journey, the animation was a little underwhelming. I also got annoyed by Lord Kudo's hair - it looked like a hair extension. The storyline wasn't the best, but not the worst, either. At the very least, it was addictive, and I finished the whole season in about a week. I'd say it's worth a watch, but I wouldn't expect anything outstanding. See more Blackbird B @RT44577258 03/25/2025 The beginning of the show really tugs at your heart. You really care for the main character and its satisfying to see her find a place where she belongs. But with that said i feel like the show drops off hard after the abusive family is dealt with. There is an interesting side plot with ghost and demons but it feels like its not very fleshed out. This might just be me but i feel romance can sometimes fall into this trope of " will they wont they" and that becomes the entire focus. But at the same time this particular romane did alot better than most i have seen. Its not just " will they wont they" its also about learning to accept yourself after years of an abusive situation. I also feel like the subject of love has alot more depth than what most romance bothers to dive into. A good example i like to bring up is maquia when the promised flower blooms. Hardly anything i have seen really shows the depth of love and how its so much more than just two people falling for eachother. Again i dont want to bash the anime or the work that was put into it. Its a beautiful animation and the voice acting was well done. It just felt like effort to get through all of it. Not that it doesn't have its moments. The story is so great; I feel sad that they don't post all episodes in one shot; I need to wait every week for the next episode. But then again, I love the story, the cast, the lines/script, and even the anime itself. Great job on this , please continue and finish the adoption of manga to anime, you guys are doing a great job. There's barely any character or story development to both of them. The plot is weak, there's no much explanation about the current situation of the world the characters are living in. The graphics are kinda cool, even thought some ideas are kinda Ghibli "inspired". See more Bofa W @RT19113805 01/26/2025 Shockingly well made. Was hooked on first season and came back for the second. It’s not a show that’s action heavy but emotionally driven by a daughter who is treated like dirt within her own family. Think “Cinderella” but in Japan. There are action sequences with lord kudo and an entire side plot that involves using there special amplifies but that’s not the heart of the show. . My Happy Madd concise of 2 people from two different backgrounds that come together to love one another. I gave it a 4.5 because it can be a little slow but the episodes are fast paste.
