Just when you get invested in something, it switches, making the season messy and difficult to follow. It feels like they tried to cram three seasons' worth of drama into ten episodes. Jackie and Cole especially seem to go round in circles, while more storylines are thrown into the mix until you're sat there thinking, "Wait what are we doing now?" judging by some reviews, I'm definitely not the only one who felt this way. A lot of people have criticised the season for being overstuffed with too many competing storylines. There are still some good moments, and I kept watching because I wanted to see how it ended, but it didn't have the same feel as the first two seasons. Less is sometimes more. See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Aug 19, 2026 My Life with the Walter Boys Season 3 had a few rough patches that briefly pushed the story into a stretch of boredom, but thankfully, the season managed to pull itself back together before things became too difficult to stay invested in. I still felt like the overall story was there, and the characters continued transitioning into the places they needed to go. My biggest concern moving forward is where the series goes from here. I hope the writers don’t overcomplicate everything and instead keep the focus on the complicated relationship that has driven so much of the story. One thing I did miss this season was the side characters. Many of their stories felt pushed into the background because so much attention was placed on the Walter boys and their ongoing drama. I would have liked to see more balance and development for those characters because they bring additional depth to the series. See more Alberto C @alcbertoo Aug 17, 2026 I think "My Life with the Walter Boys" season 3 is the best season of the three. I found it to have the right balance between the different episodes. However, I think that in the last three episodes, the season starts to get worse. In this season, I really liked how they wanted to highlight the different relationships and put an end to the annoying sibling rivalry. They also wanted to contrast Jackie’s life in New York, including her old love, with her new life with the Walter family. About the acting, I think this is the best season for Nikki Rodriguez as Jackie. I also really liked Erin Karpluk as Hannah. I loved the way she acted and how the character is designed. For me, the best episode of the season is absolutely episode four, which has a really interesting plot. The worst is episode seven, which was so boring and badly structured. The ending of the season, in my opinion, is good, and it keeps the door open for another season!
