Aiimee @RT93911491 11/16/2022 A show about the Notre-Dame fire that does everything in its power to show you anything but the actual fire. I went into this show fully understanding that there would be dramatizations. Still, the number of subplots taking place that have absolutely nothing to do with the fire gets kind of ridiculous. While the performances aren't bad, I found myself yelling at the screen because two people would stop to have a conversation about some romance or past trauma WHILE THE CATHEDRAL WAS ACTIVELY BURNING IN FRONT OF THEM. Like guys, not the time. The show doesn't come close to giving the story of the firefighters putting out the Notre-Dame fire justice and just wastes your time more than anything else. Megan Northam, Caroline Proust, Roschdy Zem, Simon Abkarian, Marie Zabukovec, Alice Isaaz, Sandor Funtek, and the rest of the cast did a great job in this miniseries. This true story about the fire at Notre Dame cathedral in Paris was dramatic, intense, and heroic. It's about saving a landmark and proving to others and yourself that you can be more than you think you can. If you're a Netflix member, you should watch this miniseries sometime. It's a must see.
