Frankly, it’s hard to imagine what American audiences who don’t know the two will think of their endless banter, but Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan make for gorgeous backdrops. Go to Full Review

We’re not sure if the dynamic between Rotem Sela and Lior Raz on Off Road is off-putting or completely fascinating. It’s probably both, and that combined with the amazing Central Asian scenery means that we’ll keep watching. Go to Full Review

selma Y @Yarim Dec 8 The genre is rather a movie than a documentary! Almost everything is fabricated. If the actors! would’ve wanted to wind down and reflect about their life, why did they choose a film crew following them? They pretend being stuck with their 4x4 and suddenly they get pulled out by whoever. Visiting an orphanage and people in poverty and using them for propaganda is unethical. But who cares about that anyway. Let’s try to brush the image of our nation by a heartwarming docu! about friendship, vulnerability and healing. Well done guys. I hope you continue dreaming well. See more Ewcia P Jul 15 Beutiful views, great idea for a show, but omg, so sooo sooooo ignorant. And rude to the people who they are filming. No apreciation for their daily struggles. Viewed solely through the lens of their culture and expectations See more Ann E Jul 15 Off Road is a refreshing and fun ride! Lior Raz and Rotem Sela bring great chemistry and humor to this unique travel series. Their journey through Central Asia is full of breathtaking views, funny moments, and surprising emotional depth. It’s not just about the places—they really open up and show a different side of themselves. Totally worth watching! See more Rebecca E Jul 15 I wasn't sure what to expect when I first started watching but I ended up boxsetting the full series in one evening! This is a stunningly shot series that really takes you to places you've never been before (and are probably unlikely to!) I've enjoyed Rotem and Lior in Israeli dramas like A Body That Works and Fauda, so I was interested in seeing what they're like off-screen - and together! They're relationship is more like brother and sister at times - they bicker a lot! But they do come across as real and authentic. There are some genuinely funny moments. And some moments when you can see they're really challenged by their situation and circumstances. I appreciated the access to locals - there was some genuine takeout here about different cultures. Worth investing 3 hours of your time IMO!! See more Hannah L Jul 13 The beautiful scenery, kind people were a great background to a trip of two friends. The chemistry and relationship and watching them together was just addictive. They are so different and that's probably why their friendship seems to work. What a lovely country and amazing people. See more Kate T @Kate77 Jul 13 All the stars are for the people and scenery of Kyrgyzstan. What an absolutely stunning country. I want to go visit based on the cinematography in this show! Kyrgs are also very hospitable and polite people. What a shame then that they are submitted to these two arrogant and self inflated Israelis. I have been watching as the scenery is so beautiful and you end up following the (mostly) ugliness of Romet, and the internal struggle of Lior. They are rude and talk in Hebrew in front of their hosts and others. They make fun of food or customs. Romet actually has the hide to go and argue with a cattle farmer on his property about why she is vegetarian. She says she is a "nature girl" to her therapist yet is desperate for a manicure and blow dry and does make up in the car instead of assisting Lior when they are stuck in a bog. They don't tell hosts they are vegetarian before the hosts make a huge welcome feast, which is mostly meat as it is a meat heavy culture. They wonder why they aren't invited to a table full of other travellers at a natural spa. Read the room. They brag about how accomplished they are to a very bored looking Kyrg couple at a desert retreat. Overall I guess they are self important actors. See more Read all reviews
