Sara H @RT18018640 Apr 24 As 'Living Single' is to 'Friends,' I firmly believe 'Oh My God...Yes!' will be compared to 'Boondocks version of Futurama' as this is the first new animation in recent years with a fresh rapid-fire-topic structure and an attractive marketing method going after. This show may have been aired later than it's predecessor, the artwork in each show beautifully shows the 2 year difference between the pilot creation (2023) and the episodes aired (2025). The most notable parts of the show include the art that the audience can tell took a lot of effort and hard work, the writing that keeps the plot from getting too screwy in a show like this, which not an easy feat; and the quick attachment to the characters to keep us coming back to see how they battle the seemingly random yet captivating conflicts of each episode. My hesitancy to get attached is the only reason I'm giving 4 stars. If he chose to rip up his companies contract for Hoorae! Production shows, I'm sincerely concerned about his interest keeping the first Black-woman centered animation created/green lit in the last 20 years. However, I am going to add a half star in the hope that Issa Rae/Amazon Prime/ Apple TV would buy it from Michael Ouweleen should the need arise for the show be shopped around. I've now decided This show has a lot of potential in the work with considering the world Adele Williams created via comic. So far, watching season 1, I fully believe they can achieve a run like 'Harley Quinn', or ever Friends. ***this show has receiving a minimum amount of ratings across movie sites.
