Peacemaker is one of the strongest entries in the new DCU. The humor lands, the characters are fun, and for most of the season it feels confident and refreshingly different. That's exactly why the finale disappointed me. The pocket-universe concept was a huge missed opportunity. Imagine Peacemaker opening doors and catching brief glimpses of other worlds: the Creature Commandos, a Lantern, another Batman, or even remnants of the old DCEU. You wouldn't need full crossovers—just enough to make the universe feel bigger and get fans talking. Open a door, let us wonder, then close it. Maybe we revisit that world someday, maybe we don't. Instead, the finale played it safe. For me, that's becoming the biggest issue with the DCU so far. Comics thrive on bold ideas, and I wish this finale had trusted both its imagination and its audience a little more.
