The YA book adaptation hesitates with mature topics despite going full "Odyssey" Go to Full Review

Season Two begins in roughly the same place, but shows enough growth as it moves along to give me some optimism that Riordan and everyone else are starting to figure out how to translate what's worked so well in print to the small screen. Go to Full Review

In a darker Season 2, which boasts much higher stakes for the trio, Rick Riordan’s expansive world is only getting juicier and more robust. Go to Full Review

One of the best parts about Percy Jackson and the Olympians is that Annabeth takes central stage in this season. Go to Full Review

Season 2 remains engaging enough for kids and adults to enjoy together, instead of of leaning too far to make one leave the room. This show continues to make use of its expanded time by fleshing out its robust ensemble. Go to Full Review

S02 is an improvement on the film in every way, including the depth of characterization for the central trio, the great depiction of Tyson, and a fantastic episode featuring Circe. If only Mr. D and Tantalus weren't here Go to Full Review

Rina O @RT81226583 5d In comparison to season 1, season 2 was beyond better, it was near perfect. Apart from changing a couple of scenes, some additions like the final fight in the last episode made it even better for me. The cinematography improved greatly and the podcast hosted by Aryan was very entertaining. I re watch it weekly. See more Tom F @RT55173143 May 7 Better than it has to be, but still just an adventure story for brighter than average children. See more Dylan H @plsplsplsNCU Apr 24 Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 starts off promising, improving on Season 1 with stronger pacing, better chemistry, and a more confident adaptation of The Sea of Monsters. For most of the season, it feels like the show is finally settling into what it wants to be: a fun, modern take on Greek mythology with solid character work. But the final two episodes derail everything. The finale, in particular, strays heavily from the book in ways that feel unnecessary rather than creative. Major plot points are rewritten, key character motivations are altered, and the climax loses much of the emotional weight and structure that made the original story effective. Instead of enhancing the source material, it replaces it. The result is a season that builds momentum only to abandon its own foundation at the finish line. Rating: 0.8/5 See more Lordly P @RT79227702 Apr 23 As a book fan, this is sad See more MACARENA L @RT25618821 Apr 21 As a big fan of the books, I found it really interesting that some of the changes the original writer decided. Although I really wanted to see the bubble scene. For this second season we see Percy going back to school with his new friend, Tyson, untill Annabeth shoes up and tells Percy that the cmapament is in danger and Grover is lost on his mission looking for Pan. Annabeth, Percy and Tyson goes ot for a question looking for the golden fleece and Grover facing many difficult challenges. The characters acting was one of my favorite parts, taking on mind they are just teenagers and indeed did a great job on emotions such as sadness, anger or enjoyment. This season, or the hole series, is and an absolute must-see, make Greek mythology more interesting and easier to understand See more Tomas S @Tomas8080 Apr 6 Season 2 is very good for like how they made the princess andromeda, Tyson, and the dreams between Grover and Percy. I also like the chariot race. Season 2 is better than the movie because it has the same events as the previous book (Sea of monsters book 2 in the Percy Jackson book series) See more Read all reviews
