CTV's relationship comedy "Satisfaction" follows the lives of couple Maggie Bronson and Jason Howell, along with their single friend and roommate Mark Movenpick as they navigate their way through their early 20s. Maggie and Jason attempt to keep the spark alive in their long-term relationship while facing day-to-day challenges, while Mark attempts to hustle the dating scene. Caught between their immature pasts and taking the next step toward maturity, the trio experiences the realities of adult situations, like opening a joint bank account or befriending another couple.

What to Know

Critics Consensus

Although it occasionally covers familiar territory, Satisfaction creates an air of mystery by enthusiastically tackling uncomfortable subject matter.

Satisfaction thus turns itself into a surprising drama about ethics, aiming to be more than a mere montage of climaxing clients. Go to Full Review
Mary McNamara Los Angeles Times 07/17/2014
At its best, it's a well-acted, surprisingly clear-eyed look at the inconsistent relationship between passion and enduring love, and the innovative ways in which people bend their own rules to accommodate their need for pleasure. Go to Full Review

I have to admit I've not been this intrigued by a pilot in a long time. Delving into the depths of middle age and marriage, even with a somewhat unrealistic bent, is a gutsy move for USA Network. Go to Full Review

In general, Satisfaction's pilot does a nice job of illustrating the frustrations that both Trumans have without damaging any interest we might have in them as a married couple. Go to Full Review
