What a wasted opportunity when they dropped the ghosts entirely to focus on boring corporate takeover bids and political corruption. Even Park Eun-Bin couldn’t save it from sliding into a generic office drama, presenting her least memorable character rôle. Not her fault, she was let down by the script. See more Larry M @Larrythemed Sep 12, 2026 I’m honestly so disappointed. I actually loved this series at first: the romance, mystery, ghosts and crime storyline were exactly my thing. But the medical scenes are unbelievably inaccurate. In the resuscitation scene, ventricular fibrillation is shown without defibrillation, while later an AED/defibrillator is used for asystole and presented as what brings the patient back. That is a basic medical error. And unfortunately, it doesn’t stop there. There are more scenes involving trauma, a supposed heart attack, an aneurysm and surgery where basic procedures and terminology are portrayed incorrectly. I don’t expect a fantasy romance to be a medical documentary, but if medical emergencies are an important part of the plot, the writers should at least do some BASIC research or consult a medical professional. It’s especially frustrating because I genuinely liked the series. These scenes completely ruined the immersion for me. Such a shame. See more SANtANA C @forbidnApple Aug 16, 2026 Started strong but near halfway in series and spooky concept is lost and wasted; turned into cliché rom-drama, pointless episodes unnecessarily tackling 1 political problem lasting whole episodes with scraps of romantic date scenes thrown in. Ghosts should be her ultimate weapon in giving her advantage! Sadly disappointed how wow factor wasted after 1st trimester of series. Was 5* but really 2 but im anticipating top efforts in last trimester. As if someone panicked and changed storyboards last minute, mis-fired, lost track. Get back to the point!!!! The storyline is so beautiful, caring, and romantic....... The couple in this drama plays their roles so wonderfully that it truly touches your heart....... See more Bill Y @RT02353261 Jul 27, 2026 "Spooky" is "The Sixth Sense" meets a police procedural, and after two episodes, it's an easy recommendation. A psychic who sees recently deceased spirits teams with a detective to solve murders, backed by an exceptionally likable cast. Two episodes in, and we have a challenging murder mystery. It’s entertaining but riddled with plot holes. After killing his girlfriend, a golf pro disguises himself as a flight attendant, sneaks into the victim's hotel room via a shared balcony, hides the body in a carry-on suitcase, then dumps it into a rooftop water tower. Housekeeping never finds the body, the disguise fools everyone, detectives ignore the connecting balcony, and basic hotel security seems nonexistent. None of it makes much sense—but somehow it still works. The cast and supernatural premise are engaging enough that the absurdly haunted logic becomes part of the fun.
