The result, in Strange New Worlds Season 2, is a number of instant-classic episodes that’ll stand alongside some of the best the franchise has ever given us over the past 60 years. Go to Full Review

Fans get a wide range of compelling new stories, often in an adventure-of-the-week format, with lots of eye-popping special effects and cool nods to the history of these beloved characters. Go to Full Review

It’s remarkable how much Strange New Worlds is able to accomplish in so little time. It helps that the episodes are 15-20 minutes longer than the Nineties shows got to deploy. Mostly, though, it’s that this creative team has a strong grasp on its crew. Go to Full Review

Fans of the first season know the quality of this show and the second season does not look to disappoint. Answering cliffhangers in its own time, the show focuses on the characters and is better for it. Go to Full Review

Adventurous and addictive, this newest addition to Gene Roddenberry's sci-fi franchise evokes the original 'Star Trek' series that I fell in love with back in 1966. Go to Full Review

Mike P. @MikeisaPATRIOT Mar 6 Worse than Season 1. Less like Star Trek and more like a steamy pile of garbage. Hard to watch. I was angry and disenchanted at the end of every episode. I love Star Trek but this was worse than Star Trek 5. Yes. That bad. See more Carlos M @CaduMartins Feb 22 The second season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds successfully maintains the "adventure of the week" spirit that made its debut so refreshing. It excels when it focuses on the core chemistry of the Enterprise crew, delivering high-stakes sci-fi and genuine character growth. However, the musical episode felt out of place and broke the immersion that the series usually builds so well. Additionally, there were moments where the writing felt a bit heavy-handed with its social messaging, that occasionally overshadowed the narrative. Despite those occasional distractions, the season remains a high-quality entry in the franchise. See more Michael P. @MichaelPerm Feb 20 Loved it. Every other episode seems to be a little quirky See more Alex S @RT45656533 Feb 5 While better than discovery by a long ways, the writing and scenes in SNW are long, ponderous, overly emotional, and border on soap opera nonsense. This show is a far cry from being inspiring and showing a hopeful and optimistic future like previous Star Trek installments. Nor does it deliver on previous Star Trek's winning recipes of offering interesting science fiction plots, with displays of competence and camaraderie. On occasion, there is an episode that doesn't let itself get mired down in sappy, dogwater social conflict that has been painfully constructed for the episode.. and that is where it shines. It is sad that these episodes are so few and far between. In the great scheme of Star Trek, this season of SNW rates.. above discovery, though well below TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY, and even ENT. See more R T @JohnOlt Feb 4 Season 2 delivers even more brilliance. Thoughtful, thrilling, and beautifully crafted - it proves SNW isn’t just good Trek, it’s exceptional television. 🖖 See more Bernd L @Monguntiacum Feb 2 Season 1 was like coming home after years. I love it. Season 2 is also great, now we can have fun and great moments. I am truly shocked in love for this cast and their adventures. I enjoy every minute. I watched the Musical Episode four times in a row! Such a royal pleasure! Welcome home beloved Star Trek, i hope you stay a while with us! See more Read all reviews
