It has everything the discerning Trekkie could want. Epic interstellar battles, dodgy yellow knitwear and alien races with pointy plastic ears that look like they might go warp factor nine near an open flame.

It’s got the balance of episodic storytelling and a continuing narrative. But the gimmicky episodes aren’t the only highlights. They’ve given us such lovely characters, played by these compelling actors who just capture the screen.

A very different type of season to most Star Treks. Very much more of an emotional one the latter episodes. Last episode is definitely the most emotional. Enjoyable and makes it interesting for season 4.

Loved this season. The cast delivers, the SFX department delivers, the script delivers. This is really Star Trek, with a soul. It has the overall feeling of a great remake of the 1960s show but it stands on his own feet. In my opinion, Ethan Peck as Spock is the major focal point of this series. He has the best scenes, the best lines, the best relationships (yes, honestly) and the best episodes. But the whole cast is a joy to watch. And there's something else: this season delivers several things at once: Excitement, horror, fun, romance, etc. All in one shiny package. And I have to say that I also like the James T. Kirk-character (and actor). Lets not forget that Paul Wesley has an incredibly difficult job here. He has to play one of the most iconic characters in movie history but at the same time he has to hold back in order to not steal the show from Anson Mount's Captain Pike. I say that he has achieved this. Final verdict: this is a modern take on classic Star Trek. Amazing.

Utter drivel. I am so disappointed with this show. I can't believe I am writing this, but roll on cancellation. Please put this show out of it's, and my, misery. 1 barely decent episode a season is just sad.

Excellent production. I like it a bit more centered and not as woke out. I mean it’s Star Trek. Just as it is it explores all the weird things in the universe. No need to push it. Also… they make everyone look amazing. Like the best they have ever looked. The lighting and set background etc is perfect

Star Trek Fan since I was 8 years old. Seriously people?! This is the best season of Star Trek in the last 30 years!! Amazing scripts. Wonderful moral and ethical dilemmas. Loved it!!
