The Turnbow Trap and the plan it refers to really stretch the suspension of disbelief, but it is exciting to watch, so stretch it we will.

The penultimate episode of Stranger Things 5‘s first volume can’t escape the fragmentation of its own ambition, which leads to an head-scratching 69-minute episode that feels like its both going too slow and too fast all at once.

[...] reminded me of one of my favorite survivor movies, You’re Next. Everything was set up to a T thanks to Mike’s simple yet effective planning, they weren’t arguing about who was right, and everything within the house went off without a hitch.
