Alain E @AlainE Feb 6 Very disjointed editing in the first few minutes. A female photo reporter, who we have to assume is street savvy, takes on an assignment to photograph the first free elections in South Africa her young daughter with her. They get separated and the mother searches only in one direction. Cut. A young girl (possibly the original child, now older) walks in a field and witnesses some violence on a child. She retreats. Cut. A new aupair gets hired in a chaotic household. I think it’s the reporter’s. Cut. A new male policeman gets transferred to a new precinct. He instantly insults an experienced female officer there. None of these episodes appear promising for this series. I left. See more Chris B @RT29408941 02/28/2025 Season 1 is really really good. The casting and acting is unbelievable, I also enjoyed the story and found it very gripping. The filming locations too are very strong and it certainly has a feel to it. Too much back and forth, not enough story telling. Too much damaged cop, not enough plot. A 2-hour movie told in 8 hours.
