It was as if the creators had thought they wanted to make a series about a classical ‘dangerous’ woman who breaks marriages and more with her sexy boundlessness, but then twist it so it turned out that she was innocent after all, and a victim, herself, and it was the nasty man, usually covered by his prestigious title as doctor, who ended up becoming the villain. In any case, this was very predictable from early on. The emptiness of the series’ soul was filled out with for instance insufferably long sex scenes which felt as if they were supposed to be ‘hip ‘ and daring, but really were just sO cringe. I liked a few features. One was that the partner that our main character, Mia, had fled from, was another type of man than the type who is usually portraied as a wife-abuser. So cute and nice did he look that it was not easy at first to see him as abusive.
