Daniel B Aug 22 Es increíble la facilidad que tienen los medios estadounidenses en crear narrativas épicas deportivas, y "The Dynasty” no es la excepción. Y es que, en verdad, esta historia pareciera sacada de una película por lo fantasioso del mismo relato: un club de bajas pretensiones, al borde de cambiar de sede, es adquirido por un nuevo propietario que, ante cualquier lógica, promete un Super Bowl a su afición, fichando a un jugador de sexta ronda, que se convertirá en el mejor jugador en la historia de la NFL, de la mano de uno de los mejores entrenadores en la historia deportiva. A mí, en lo personal, antes de esta serie no era tan fanático de la NFL, y aun así el cómo está armada, aunque no conozcas casi nada de este deporte, es tan efectiva que te termina sacando una lágrima. Yo creo que lo mejor que tiene esta serie es recordarnos por qué Tom Brady se convirtió en una leyenda, al igual que los Patriots, una historia llena de drama, sacrificio, polémicas, pero con un final de leyenda. See more Casey S 05/22/2024 I initially had high hopes, but this abysmal series is entirely focused on boosting the Krafts’ egos, vilifying Belichick, and stirring up drama for the sake of it. The credibility of this production is highly suspect, particularly with multiple well-respected players saying their words were twisted. It is also incredibly inappropriate for this to be filmed while Belichick was a Patriots employee, in light of everything the Krafts say about him, when he was not in a position to know or to defend himself. The actual audience for this show is the Krafts and only the most bitter fans of opposing teams. Whether or not you’re a Pats fan, if you enjoy interesting, accurate, balanced, and entertaining sports shows, do yourself a favor and skip this hot garbage. See more Marcus P 03/30/2024 Even the documentary is jealous of the patriots, and spends a ridiculous amount of time discrediting the greatest player and coach to ever play the game. I feel like this point of view is extremely predictable and boring. As if we haven’t heard the majority of the country whine and cry for two decades. I was hoping for an interesting perspective or at the very least for the patriots and Brady to finally get their flowers. But nah the patriots were too successful even for their own documentary to treat them fairly. I still love that team and tommy terrific. It was awesome rooting for them all these years. Director plays eerie music to give impression that BB is somehow responsible for Aaron Hernandez death. Left out any positive comments about BB and highlighted any beef players had completely ignoring 2 super bowl wins. Pathetic. Way to tarnish your own dynasty Kraft. See more Erik W 03/26/2024 In a documentary about a patriots dynasty, spending entire episodes on Aaron Hernandez, spygate and deflategate but about 2 minutes on Super Bowl 2 + 3 reveals the bias of the filmmakers. Those topics are critical to understanding the dynasty, but that disparity reveals a narrative geared towards drama, attention and eyeballs more than actually exploring what made them successful. Bill Belichick was very clearly a target of this documentary, which paints him as the reason for all the failures but rarely responsible for any successes after the first Super Bowl.
