I never really hated The Garfield Show. The animation, while worse than I remember it being when the show debuted, looks appealing for its target audience and does a better job than the DT-DVD trilogy of capturing the Jim Davis art style in CGI, the voice acting is good, the music is quirky and the new characters are entertaining. It does suffer from writing problems, questionable changes in characterisations and relying too much on fourth wall humour, not to mention the presence of sci-fi elements in what once started out as a slice-of-life comic strip about a snarky orange cat and his clueless owner. I do understand this show getting worse the older you get given the target audience but hey, at least it was easier to sit through than the overexposed Teen Titans Go!
