Lucette M @RT75883508 Jul 27 I liked it, although I had to watch the final episodes again to understand the ending. Many implicit messages there, but the way I see it their relationship never really ended in the first place. It developed between the lines, and after they finally met again 4 years after their last encounter, they walk up the hill together, to proceed their lives together. Some of the implicit messages are: 1. they both met their formal exes but chose to just let them go. Hu Sang met Mi Gyoung in the entrance of there bank head quarters, but: he did not go to her to talk or whatever. Su Young met her ex-boyfriend on the street where he was working as a police officer. She just smiled at him and walked away. When Hu Sang en Su Young met each other, well, the rest is history. They met again and again and finally walked up the hill. 2. The bar where Su Young and Hu Sang met was called Off Beat, meaning playing the music in between the beats, which was the way their relationship developed as well. 3. Su Young called her coffee bar after the name of the plant Hu Sang gave her 4 years earlier, before she left without a trace. She filled her bar with paintings of places she and Hu Sang spent time together. These are only a few of the most obvious signs. Why do i bother to write all this? Because many people say they were left frustrated after the end of the story, because they did not understand it. It's interesting so many people talk about it, extensively, after having watched it untill the end (16 episodes of more than 1 h.). It shows that it makes people think. See more Read all reviews
