It’s just boring, even by the standards of Nordic noir. Go to Full Review

Jo W @RT94375832 12/07/2024 Slow, ponderous and boring. See more Gisele B @Geulah26 10/24/2024 Had I known what a disappointment the ending is, I would not have watched it. It plods and plods and there is no conclusion. What a waste of time. The acting is nothing to write home about either. See more Sally C @Sally108 12/29/2023 If you like suspense, this is the show for you. See more John O @ThreeRivers 10/15/2023 Spoilers: Call it The Loren-Slog Whatever. Must movies or series do the beginning, the middle and leave off the end these days? Tom Cruise did in the latest MI, and so many others. Not sure if this no ending bit is about something like the universe will take care of it, or lack of imagination or fear of being criticized or ridiculed over any ending. At first I thought this series had good production values, semi-normal people, though a bit Scandi cool, detached, not necessarily suicidal, whatever. I couldn't help thinking the lead detective was thinking all the time: How do I look in this shot? And If they want verisimilitude, to keep faithful to the facts, they should say this is a true story. But that rarely happens. Usually it says "based on" a true story, like here, which often means most of it is made up. So make up an ending, already, and make it about interesting people. Not, like here, up close and personal with boring people. Maybe call it: The girl dragooned with the tutu. Sounds Scandinavian. Lizbeth, anyone? Or was the woman dragooned at all? By now, who cares? And what's with the Brit and even Scottish accents? I thought these people were Norwegian. It's not the economy -- it's the writing, stupid! See more Melissa D @FilmFanForFun 08/28/2023 Extremely boring, slow moving and at times, confusing. Not worth a watch. Could have been an hour and a half movie with time to spare. See more E-commerce store @RT65607275 08/05/2023 The only reason people rated this low is because there is no conclusion. The acting is good, the story is interesting, but it is based on a real story that does not have a conclusion. See more Read all reviews
