Edie E @RT89794427 May 30 I really enjoyed Seasons 1 & 2. After getting drawn into the improbable time travel motif, the secrets, griefs and conflicts within the Landry family are steadily revealed. The complicated emotions between the three generations wrapped around the disappearance of Jacob is well done and quite believable. As we get into deeper past era lives, the conflicts ratchet up and some real "bad guys" are introduced. So when we come back to modern times and deal with the descendants of these families, the plot gets muddle. I could not sustain my interest in Season 3. I think the director thought that by now we should be adept at transitioning from one generation to another with all their specific characters. This may partly be a problem of binge-watching where my attention started to wane....like get to the finale! All in all, a pretty good show.... See more Beth S @Critical737 Mar 5 I've been watching The Way Home as a way to pass the time during a flu-like virus. I like the cast, and the acting is pretty good, but the whole time travel gimmick just lends a lot of confusion. The characters go to the past by jumping into a pond. They emerge soaking wet. No one in the past or present questions why they are soaking wet, they just accept it as, I guess, part of your schtick. You jump back into the same pond to go back to the present. So how do the people in the past age if every time you go back, they look the same? I find time travel to be about as dumb a gimmick as TV has to offer. Too many unexplained issues, too much trying to remember who is who and how it all works. See more Sammy S. @Jksteps Feb 24 Season 1 good. Season 2 slow and boring. Season 3, make it stop! See more P O @Old-school Feb 12 Tedious and boring, with bad script that goes nowhere. See more Cami B. @Harley-Quinn Feb 12 Love it can’t wait to see what happens next!!! See more Marquise B @MarquiseB Feb 4 Season 3 was just contrived and boring, it was all over the map, with everyone traveling through time and making no sense. The lead character Kat was fat and didn't pull off her part well at all. The season 2 was passable but this was awful, I could care less about a season 4:( See more Read all reviews
