In the near future, cocky Timecop Jack Logan tries to "protect the past and preserve the future" by going on time-traveling missions assigned by the Time Enforcement Commission. That's an agency that monitors old newspapers to look for "ripples in time" that signal bad guys have traveled into the past and are trying to change history for their own insidious ends. The TEC team working with Jack include dorky but brilliant Dr. Dale Easter, wisecracking technician Claire Hemmings and Jack's boss, Eugene Matuzek.

Julio Martinez Variety 06/19/2019
It might have been hot stuff on the comic page and on the large screen, but ABC's sojourn into futuristic cops-and-robbers time travel is a profound yawner. Go to Full Review
Hal Boedeker Orlando Sentinel 06/19/2019
It doesn't help that the hero is tediously macho and wisecracking. But then Timecop diminishes history into a silly, trivial adventure with a few jazzy special effects. Go to Full Review
Howard Rosenberg Los Angeles Times 06/19/2019
Dueling time travelers is a nice idea, but it's executed here without grace or a sense of mystery. The imagination and excitement of the time-travel concept are undermined by a spotty script that relies on the mundane. Go to Full Review

"Timecop" is a time travel series that is a victim of bad timing. And worse. Go to Full Review
Tom Jicha South Florida Sun-Sentinel 06/19/2019
The plot development is so insultingly far-fetched that it's laugh-out-loud funny - unintentionally. The only upside to the preposterous scripting is that it camouflages acting below the caliber of senior-class plays. Go to Full Review

steve d 07/31/2020 It is silly, but a lot of fun with a cool idea about clashing time travelers, where you begin to question where time begins and time manipulation ends. See more Read all reviews
