“Turning Point: The Vietnam War,” may be dense with information, yet is edited and delivered in a manner that feels fleet while still getting the job done. Go to Full Review

“Turning Point: The Vietnam War” proves that the more we piece together, the clearer the deception's atrocious expanse becomes. They also clarify the damage wrought by our collective amnesia and our refusal to learn from history. Go to Full Review

This in-depth docuseries chronicles how U.S. involvement in Vietnam between 1954 and 1975 evolved from a small, covert Cold War mission into a long, costly, and failed conflict with ongoing national repercussions. Go to Full Review

There probably isn’t a whole lot of revelation and new insights in this series, but...the way the whole thing is presented, especially through the interviewees, is effectively compelling and feels fresh. Go to Full Review

Michael D May 29 The Vietnam War's complexity presents a significant challenge in achieving a balanced presentation encompassing factual information, personal accounts, and appropriate scope. While the series successfully addresses this challenge, the episodic structure could benefit from improved viewer accessibility. A 90-minute final episode is excessively long, particularly given the density of information presented. See more William N May 18 Not as compelling as Turning Point: The Bomb and the Cold War, and fails to supplant PBS's "Vietnam: A Television History" as the greatest Vietnam documentary ever made. See more Michael W @mawilps May 14 This Vietnam War docuseries was really good. The entire crew did an excellent job on telling the story of what really happened in Vietnam, the government corruption, and the peoples' tragic and terrifying stories of what they experienced there. If you haven't seen this docuseries yet, check it out sometime. It's a must see. See more Bananas n S May 4 I really enjoyed the first two installments of Turning Point (9/11 and the Cold War). This one is just lost on me. Yes, there is some intense footage and the stories are important, but it just felt pieced together. It probably was. Some Netflix executives pumping out more content because the first two series did well, so they force a third with no heart. See more Read all reviews
