News & Interviews for We Are The Champions: Season 1
Fortunately, there's enough warmth and empathy in "We Are the Champions" to keep the final product a well-intentioned look at what powers some of the odder corners of human achievement.
The motivational phrases full of clichés at the end of the episodes... don't add up to much. [Full review in Spanish]
We Are The Champions shows contests that you may have never heard of or seen, but even if you have seen them before, the show treats them with such reverence that you'll become fans.
Each individual's experience with the show will be different, though, and it's definitely worth sampling. Take a cue from the jumping frogs and (forgive me) hop around to find the episodes that align with your interests.
Audience Reviews for We Are The Champions: Season 1
Dec 07, 2020Inspirational and well written!
Nov 22, 2020This Netflix docuseries was pretty good. The entire crew that made the series did a great job into documenting sporting events that aren't very well known to the world. It gives a inside look of how the sports are played and judged. Most of these events they documented were pretty cool but a couple of them were very peculiar and uninteresting like fantasy hairstyling and dog dancing. Overall, it was worth watching and I enjoyed it. If you're a Netflix member, check this series out. You'll enjoy it.
Nov 20, 2020Very interesting, quirky, and cool. Something different that kept my attention. Highly recommend.
