Renie Riano was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Riano's earliest roles were in film, including the comedy adaptation "Tovarich" (1937) with Claudette Colbert, the musical "You're a Sweetheart" (1937) with Alice Faye and "Four's a Crowd" (1938) with Errol Flynn. She also appeared in the Bonita Granville mystery "Nancy Drew - Detective" (1938), the Wayne Morris drama "Men Are Such Fools" (1938) and "Outside of Paradise" (1938). She continued to work steadily in film throughout the forties, appearing in the dramatic adaptation "The Man Who Wouldn't Talk" (1940) with Lloyd Nolan, the comedic adaptation "The Ghost Comes Home" (1940) with Frank Morgan and "Adam Had Four Sons" (1941). She also appeared in the comedy "Affectionately Yours" (1941) with Merle Oberon. In the latter half of her career, she continued to act in "The Time of Your Life" (1948), "Jiggs and Maggie in Court" (1948) and "Jiggs and Maggie Out West" (1950). She also appeared in "As Young As You Feel" (1951) and the Tommy Kirk comedy "Pajama Party" (1964). Riano last worked on "Anderson and Company" (NBC, 1968-69). Riano passed away in July 1971 at the age of 72.
