96 Minutes stretches well beyond its supposed real-time urgency, padding the crisis with unnecessary exposition and overexplained emotional backstory. Go to Full Review

Lin and his co-star Vivian Sung work well together as they strive to save the day, and there's fine support from Lee Lee-zen as Lin's harried superior. Go to Full Review

Hung’s ambitious screenplay poses some legitimate moral quandaries about the value of one life against another. ... Unfortunately, 96 Minutes lacks the narrative dexterity to draw much of a conclusion beyond revenge definitely being bad. Go to Full Review

Sam A @Padlock 6d I've seen better terrorist, more exciting ones, but this one did have an original backstory at least. Also be warned, there is a brutal child death and I absolutely despise it when films do this. There is no need to traumatised people and unnecessarily show a child death with all the gore See more Nam N @NamNguyen Feb 21 Classic idea by challenging character between 2 choices, thus poses the lack of morality in society. Most people in the movie are selfish, putting theirselves at first and refusing to understand or support another. However, their motivation all from past suffering and deaths, which might seem unreasonble and is not well convinced to audiences. Especially, the perpetrator has little scene showing his emotional side and pain, so that his crime is not persuasive. The meaning is clear, but how it is conveyed isn't memorable. The action parts are lack of drama and suspence, some screenplays are unlogcial. In conclusion, as the script is about heroism contrast with normal people who are selfish and cruel - just like 200 movies have been made before, "96 minutes" is suitable for a mere entertainment experience. See more Welby S @Balisong Feb 11 Theres a mad bomber in Taiwian. He has planted bombs on a train. The demolitions team happens to be on the train. It subverts expectations. If you are used to predictable resolutions in most American films. You will not see the direction this one goes to. Highly recommend. See more Pauline V @unknown000 Feb 5 unoriginal, theres no wow factor, the movie lacks plot twist. See more LAA A @LAA84 Feb 4 The storyline and plot are very good. While the acting and effects suggest a low movie budget, it's still worth watching once. See more eegn o @eegnoagn Feb 3 I don't agree with the distorted logic. The ending favors that unreasonable philosophy and abused principle. See more Read all reviews
