In 18th-century Romania, after spending much of her life in a traveling circus, human-vampire hybrid Rayne (Kristanna Loken) escapes and plots to take down her evil vampire father, Kagan (Ben Kingsley). When she's discovered by three vampire hunters, Vladimir (Michael Madsen), Katarin (Michelle Rodriguez) and Sebastian (Matt Davis), she manages to convince them to spare her life and join her cause. But slaying a vampire as powerful as Kagan will be no easy task.

BloodRayne is an F-Tier video game adaptation that feels like a huge missed opportunity from start to finish. Based on the 2002 game, it should have had plenty of potential, but instead it comes across as cheap, awkward, and forgettable. After Doom in 2005, this feels like another failure that shows how badly these adaptations could go when they do not understand what made the source material appealing. The tone is all over the place, the execution is sloppy, and nothing here feels polished or engaging. Overall, BloodRayne is just a disappointing mess that wastes its premise and never builds any real excitement. It is hard to recommend in any way, and I would rate it a 0/10 for being such a weak adaptation and a total letdown.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

I do not know WHAT Mr Boll did [or didn't do ] to get actors like Sir Ben Kingsley into this massacre of a movie, but whatever it is, I hope and pray to the Almighty he doesn't sell it to Vladimir [Putin, that is ]. The end of the universe will be imminent if that happens. There are bad movies that are so bad, they are "good" - this one is so bad, it's BAAAAHHHHHD. You have been warned. Now, excuse me while I have a snack, the local blood bank is having a "Buy one, get one free !" offer, and I need to get the bad taste out of my teeth...
