After his father dies in a robbery, Jim Reid (Tom Keene) vows to get revenge on the killer, Red Gentry (Charles King Jr.). While tracking Gentry, Jim meets Roxey Moore (Betty Compson), whom he learns is Gentry's ex-girlfriend. She tells him that Gentry fled to Canada and that she's after him to get her own revenge. After a blacksmith (Billy Bletcher) finds a gold nugget in the hoof of Roxey's horse, Jim and Roxey use the money to formulate a plan to bring Gentry out of hiding.
