When bratty 8-year-old Kevin McCallister acts out the night before a family trip to Paris, his mother makes him sleep in the attic. After the McCallisters mistakenly leave for the airport without Kevin, he awakens to an empty house and assumes his wish to have no family has come true. But his excitement sours when he realizes that two con men plan to rob the McCallister residence, and that he alone must protect the family home.

العمل جيد جدا. الفلم له سحر على الاطفال ههههه لا يهم كم مره يشاهدونه لانهم في كل مره تشعر انهم يشاهدونه لاول مره و هذه نقطه حيدة تحسب للعمل. القصة بسيطه حواراتها سطحية جدا . المخرج عتمد على الكوميديا الجسدية اكثر من البناء الكوميدي.سرد القصة بشكل واضح ومباشر مما جعل الايقاع متذبب و سقط في التكرار . الممثلين بالعموم ادائهم مقبول . يوجد مبالغه و ردات فعل مبالغ بها في اداء الممثلين لدرجة السذاجة ماتحس بعفوية بردات فعلهم او تيعطوك شعور ان حقيقية واضح ان مصطنع و خصوصا عند الطفل . التصوير كان جيد الاضاءه والالوان كانت متناسقة . الكامرة كانت تتحرك وتلتقط اشياء جميلة جعلتني كمشاهد اشعر باجواء الكرسمس. اختيار الموسيقى والاغاني كان موفق و اضاف طعم رائع الى اجواء الفلم . بختصار فلم جميل للاطفال لكن اذا ما اردنا محاسبته كعمل سنمائي مثل الافلام الاخرى فهو سطحي جدا.
