12/04/2012 A very tired rendering of some of his greatest songs. Just no life in it, unfortunately. Boring! See more 07/02/2011 Of the Lou Reed concerts on DVD, this is by far the best, although this still feels like it could be better. The high points are Venus in Furs, Satellite of Love & a killer version of Romeo Loves Juliet from Lou's great New York album. The interesting thing about the performance of Romeo Loves Juliet is that even though Lou forgets some of the lyrics, you can feel an energy pass between the members of the group. I'm not sure why, but you can tell they're all geeked out that their playing this song. Also included are songs like Perfect Day, Jesus, Walk on the Wild Side & Sweet Jane.
