Aging housewife Edith (Maureen O'Sullivan) lives with her husband, Harry (Paul Ford), and his daughter, Kate (Connie Stevens), and son-in-law (Jim Hutton). After visiting the doctor, Edith discovers she's pregnant. The surprise comes as a bitter shock to the household. Harry fears the looming responsibilities of parenthood, while Kate laments the increase in housework. 05/21/2021 Paul Ford is the best thing about this movie! Perfect casting! Connie "Stevens" & Jim Hutton are abysmal, but no matter. This is a sweet movie, very life-affirming, worth watching.
